About Amer Fort
Amer Fort (Amber Fort), built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and expanded by successive rulers, is one of Jaipur's crown jewels. Its four courtyards, the mirror-work Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam and Ganesh Pol reflect a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Part of the "Hill Forts of Rajasthan" UNESCO World Heritage listing.
