About Hawa Mahal
Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, Hawa Mahal's honeycomb facade of 953 small windows allowed royal ladies to observe street festivals unseen. Its pink-and-red sandstone honeycomb is the most photographed landmark of the Pink City.
