About City Palace
Commissioned by Sawai Jai Singh II from 1727, the City Palace is a sprawling complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings blending Rajput, Mughal and European styles. Highlights include the Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Pritam Niwas Chowk with its four painted seasonal doorways, and the Diwan-i-Khas.
