Samod Balaji Temple is one of the most revered religious sites in Rajasthan. Located just 42 kilometers from Jaipur, this temple, also known as Veer Hanuman Ji, is located atop the Samod mountain. This temple is renowned not only for its spirituality but also for its miracles.
Establishment of the temple
The Samod Balaji Temple has a history dating back approximately 700 years. Legend has it that Saint Nagandas Ji and his disciple Laldas Ji, while traveling through the Himalayas, came to Samod Mountain to perform penance. During their meditation, Saint Nagandas Ji heard a voice from the heavens: "I will appear here in the form of the brave Hanuman."

The temple is situated on a raised platform and is open on both sides. A series of steps lead to the temple. The temple has a pillared hall that is open on all four sides and is used for cultural events during festivals.
