Mahashivratri

On Mahashivratri, Shiva temples across Jaipur — especially Tarkeshwar Mahadev in the old city — overflow with devotees who fast, offer milk and bel leaves, and keep night-long vigils. Processions and bhajans continue through the night in honour of Lord Shiva.
