Chaksu Sheetla Mata Fair

The Sheetla Mata Fair at Chaksu, roughly 40 km south of Jaipur, is one of the region's biggest rural fairs. Held on Sheetla Ashtami, it honours the goddess Sheetla and draws thousands of villagers who offer basoda (cold food) and enjoy the bustling mela with rides, stalls and folk performances.
