Banganga Fair, Bairath

The Banganga Fair is held on Kartik Purnima at Bairath (Viratnagar), an ancient town about 85 km north of Jaipur with Buddhist and Mahabharata-era associations. Pilgrims bathe at the sacred Banganga stream and gather for a large fair with religious and cultural festivities.
